Know your Basics - Perspective
Perspective comes in different forms, the most obvious & basic of which is the use of the word in relation to the appearance of relative orientation in a three dimensional space. At first, it may seem irrelevant to photomanipulators, (because, hey, the photographs already are perspectively sound,) but putting more than one photograph in context requires that you learn to see what makes sense and what doesn't.
The Technical Stuff
Perspective (from Latin perspicere, to see through) in the graphic arts, such as drawing, is an approximate representation, on a flat surface (such as paper), of an image as it is seen by the eye. The two most

Darkroom Digital: The Restructuring
The community asked, we conversed and listened, and tonight I'm unveiling the new hierarchy of Digital Darkroom. I AM EXCITED. ARE YOU EXCITED? I AM EXCITED. ~yeyexcitedplz (https://www.deviantart.com/yeyexcitedplz)
Overview of Digital Darkroom
While most photography galleries on dA have pieces that are judged based on the merit of the technical aspects in-camera, darkroom invariably takes it a step further and considers how it looks as a finished unit - photo to be viewed online or in print - and as such, submitting to darkroom is like saying "this is my work as it should be viewed in real life". Thought is inherently given in darkroom submissions either to the merging of the
Disclaimer: I'm no lawyer, I do not work for deviantArt, I'm merely someone who has been doing photomanips for quite a while and has taken the time to read quite a few articles on the topic. The views expressed hereunder are mine alone. They do not reflect any "official dA opinion" nor are they to be taken as "legal advice". Furthermore, you may live in a country that hasn't signed any of the treaties that govern international copyright law, so you'd have to check with your country's national laws.
I strongly urge you to not only read the journal, but also the comments underneath it as there are a lot more examples of what you can and can't
